Section 4
Vacancy of office
The office of the chairman or member of the Commission shall be vacant in any of the following cases:-
(a) If he tenders his resignation in writing to the President,
(b) If he attains the age of sixty-five years,
(c) If the term of office as per clause (3) of Article 264 of the Constitution expires,
(d) If the resolution of impeachment is passed against him in accordance with Article 101 of the Constitution,
(e) If the President dismisses him from office in accordance with the recommendation of the Constitutional Council on the grounds that he is unable to perform his duties while in service due to physical or mental illness,
(f) In case of his death.
